Main Description
Once Early Life Support (ELS) is executed as per the agreement, the WIP Lead must verify that all the activities are completed as planned and the Run team is well equipped to handle the in scope projects and associated services. Any outstanding transition activities should be transferred to the Run team.

The WIP Lead must take all the required sign-offs from the relevant stakeholders as per the agreement and transfer the outstanding transition activities to the Run team.

This task marks the end of the transition phase. The Engagement Manager (Transition) must make sure that all controls are transferred to the  Delivery Manager who would be responsible for delivering the project in the Run phase. Typically, the Work Lead should share any key pointers to be kept in mind for the critical in scope projects to the Run team.

The Run team need to resolve/ clarify all the issues/problems that should help them to stabilize the in scope projects. All the relevant stakeholders are informed of the progress and it is highly recommended to update the lessons learnt database.
